I am very happy to introduce the following report on how to support the hospitality industry to overcome its current crisis. The publication was created in cooperation with Dr. Johannes Nickel, who is an expert on organizational resilience.

The aim of the report is to provide decision makers in the hotel industry with necessary insights to better understand the legacy of the pandemic, inspire them with a new strategic think­ing and support them with proven methods and tools to start shaping a prosperous future.

The authors are very aware of the fact that the financial situation of the industry is tight. However, based on experience and research, they are absolutely convinced that a change is needed more than ever.
